Midweek Motivation: February Goals

february goals

Last week Sunday at church, my Pastor gave a sermon on “Winning in Life” – How to Process What Belongs to You. I found the sermon inspiring and also relevant to this week’s “Midweek Motivation” especially as it’s the start of a brand new month.

January 2015 is done and dusted, never to be seen again and now we are four days into February. Many of us, myself included have dreams of things we would like to achieve maybe this year or within the next couple of years but we have not even started working towards them yet.

So today I want to encourage you that it’s not too late, Dreams can be achieved at anytime.

This can be achieved by using the 3 F’s:

  • Focus
  • Fight
  • Faith

Focus

Have focus and set goals so that you know where you are going. You need to be specific about what you want to achieve and how you plan to achieve it.

Set goals to be the best you can be, Don’t Settle For Less!

An important question, I always ask myself is, “Where Do I Want To Be In The Next Five Years?” – What do I need to achieve to get there?

Fight

Quitters Never Win – You have to be prepared to fight for your dreams.

This may include making sacrifices in some areas of your life in order to achieve your dream – if so do it! It will be worth it in the end – Let every day count towards achieving your goal.

Don’t give up, keep going and keep fighting – Have determination in despite of everything to continue to fight for your dreams.

Faith

The bible says, in Hebrews 11:1 that faith is:  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

We need to look beyond our present and look towards our future, looking ahead with Faith knowing that even if the dream seems impossible now with hard work and determination it is possible. – A Minor Setback For A Major Comeback

Its never too late to Dream Big – We are all Winners! So make February a Winning Month!
